Text Box: Great Grandmother is perfect partner

This is about what bowling should be about. It is not about winning.
Brian Bobbitt (22 years old) of Irving wanted to bowl with his Great Grandmother, Eleanor Callaway (84 years young) of Amarillo, in or around Irving, over the holidays. Brian tried to talk Eleanor into bringing her equipment with her when she came down to Irvin. Eleanor would not do that, because of the problems checking in the equipment for a flight. After Eleanor got to Irvin, Brian talked her into bowling with a house ball and shoes. Then Brian had to find a tournament that they could bowl together in. He found a no-tap tournament in Plano. Brian shot a 720 with his handicap and Eleanor shot a 528 with a house ball. They came in 13th, well out of the money, but the experience will last a life time for the two.
Great Bowling and way to go Brian on being persistent and getting your Great Grandmother to bowl with you.
